TDI Decompression Procedures Course in Playa del Carmen, Mexico

There are limits to everything, even diving. Recreational divers work within No Decompression Limits — and nothing sucks more than ending a great dive because you ran out of time.

If you're ready to push past that, and willing to learn how to safely execute decompression dives, TDI Decompression Procedures is where you start. You'll learn to plan and run decompression dives, building on what you picked up in TDI Advanced Nitrox, up to a maximum depth of 45 meters — using both multi-gas dive computers and planning software.

Dives happen in open water on the deep reefs and the Cantil wall in Playa del Carmen. If you're a certified cave diver holding a Stage Cave certification, we can run them in some of the deeper caves in the Riviera Maya instead.

Once you're certified, a whole new world opens up — Extended Range, Normoxic Trimix, Advanced/Technical Wreck, and more all become options from here.

This course can be taken together with TDI Advanced Nitrox as a full immersion program — minimum 6 days combined.

• Proper trim, buoyancy and finning techniques

• Emergency procedures (equipment failures, catastrophic gas loss, omitted decompression, navigational errors, etc.)

• Equipment considerations, cylinder labeling, analyzing nitrox mixtures, and gas blending procedures
